It would still be more relevant to be able to compare blindly on "difficult" music, and over time, two machines...
one modified and one unmodified..

I agree, also to understand if it is a placebo effect or real
 
time has passed... a question.... :
have you since had the opportunity to make a direct subjective (or measured) comparison between your modified machine and an unmodified one?
