WiiM Pro+ Squeezelite with Roon

I activate Squeezebox support in Roon and by playing a song I have no sound unless I change the volume within Roon. Do not understand this, someone have a suggestion? thank u

I raised this directly with WiiM and was told they had been able to recreate it and will include a fix in the next firmware update - no idea when this will be yet.

Well, it wouldn't hurt to create a ticket. And it might help raise the level of this fix on the priority list.

The best way to open a ticket is via the WiiM Home app. That will let them determine if your issue has the same root cause as others, or if it's something particular to your configuration.

Just done latest firmware update on WiiM Home app (ver 530553) and can report that the “Squeezelite Silence” issue has now been fixed. Playing to the WiiM Pro Plus as a Squeezelite endpoint now continues from track to track with no need to intervene and nudge the volume control after each track transition.
Kudos to WiiM for their excellent rapid response to issues raised by users. So far I’ve been very impressed with both the company and their products.
