Will AIF-C files be supported using the WIIM Home app?

Apparently any format (that Audirvāna can play) can be played thru the device when using Audirvāna, but not so when playing the same file from a mobile device when using the WiiM home app

Wouldn’t that suggest that the file is being transcoded by Audirvana?

The idea was to move away from Audirvāna. I reformatted my AIF-C files to AAC, along with some ALAC files that wouldn't play. No playback issues so far.
