connect wiimpro+ to Cambridge Audio CXA81

I have my new pro plus connected via RCA to Analog input on my amp (Cxa81). This method uses the DAC of the Wiim - is this correct? Since my amp also has a built in DAC (maybe a better one) would it be better to go optical out to the a digital input on my amp?

Thanks - it's a great product. Just want to make sure I am using it the best way.

Have a listen to see if there is any difference. I have a feeling that it will be a close call.

IIRC the pro plus' advantage over the pro is its AKM9963SEQ dac. Kinda defeats its purpose if you output it to your CXA81's DAC (which I have no doubt would be just as good). If you use optical in, you are limited to 24/96. Use SPDIF coax if you want to want to hit 24/196. This is per CA's website. I can't tell a difference most of the time b/t CD quality and "hi res". It is about an overall implementation and therefore try both out.
