iPhone and Qobuz to Wiim

WiiM newbie here - I have the WiiM Pro plugged in to my amp and connect Qobuz streaming from iPhone to WiiM. Phone will only play CD quality sound. What would connect better to WiiM/amp - an iPad?

Using the Wiim app you should be able to choose Qobuz as your service. Not sure why casting from the Qobuz app on your phone to Wiim amp wouldn't accomplish the same thing.

Sounds like you may be using Airplay which will be limited to CD quality at best. You should be able to choose your WiiM Pro however as a chromecast target from the Qobuz app (assuming you set that up in the WiiM Home app) and achieve 24/96 which is a limit imposed by Qobuz for Chromecast use. Hopefully, you will be able to get 24/192 whenever Qobuz release Qobuz Connect, maybe sometime this century

The alternative as suggested is to use the Qobuz section in the WiiM Home app, ensuring that you have set streaming quality to 24/192 under the hamburger menu on the Qobuz page there
