Hello everyone,

I wanted to share my experience with the WiiM amp, which has been nothing short of fantastic, especially considering my unique needs. As someone with severe quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, finding tech that is not only high-quality but also accessible can be a challenge. The WiiM amp, however, has proven to be a delightful exception.

Setup and App Accessibility: Setting up the WiiM amp was incredibly straightforward, taking just about 5 minutes. For me, the accessibility of the app is a significant factor, as I rely on adaptive equipment to control mobile devices. I'm happy to report that the WiiM app is very accessible, seamlessly integrating with my setup, allowing me to control and adjust settings without any hassle.

API for Custom Control: As a Programmer Analyst with a passion for Python, the API functionality of the WiiM amp is a standout feature. It opens up a world of customization, enabling me to write scripts to control the amp, which is not just convenient but empowering. This level of programmability is rare in audio equipment and is a huge plus for anyone who loves to tinker with tech or needs that extra level of control.

Sound Quality and Features: Sound-wise, the WiiM amp is impressive. I've paired it with KEF Q150s, and the audio imaging is fantastic. The app also offers a plethora of settings to tweak, allowing for a personalized audio experience.

Design, Build, and Value: At $300, the design and build quality exceed expectations. It's sleek, feels premium, and adds an aesthetic appeal to my space. Considering the sound quality and features, it's great value for money.

Final Thoughts: For anyone looking for a mid-tier or PC 2.1 system, especially if you have special accessibility needs, I wholeheartedly recommend the WiiM amp. Its combination of sound quality, features, and accessibility makes it a perfect choice.

Feel free to ask any questions or share your thoughts!

Cheers!

Can you check what pcb ver you have?

Just brilliant to get feedback from a person who is a) technically proficient and b) dependent on good accessibility.
