No sound when connecting to Marantz NR 1607

No sound when connecting to Marantz NR 1607. I have tried the optical output, but no sound. How do I solve this?

Yours would be assigned to 3, as seen in your photo. Analog

Thanks for your help, but I am not quite sure I understand. I attach two files.
As you can see in the second picture I have the cable in the optical output. How do I change things in my Maranrz menu?

Ok, You have the mini, I was thrown by your first photo as you had RCA. You have to assign TV Audio to OPT.

Dont know if the mini has Audio Output in the menu, but make sure it is set to Optical out
