plays 16/96, instead of 24/96

Greetings, I have a query, when I play music from my NAS, in 24/96, in the WiiM pro, it appears as playing in 16/96.
However, if I play music from TIDAL, it does appear in 24/96. Let's see if you ask me to help solve it. Thank you

What server are you using on your NAS? Is there a setting there that is transcoding or limiting the output to 16bit?

Using Synology Media Server? If so, have you set it to transcode? This old Naïm post suggests its transcoding is poor and might be the source of your issue https://community.naimaudio.com/t/help-nas-synology-e-24-bit/5820
