Separate Gain and/or EQ for each source.

@greektragedy
You see, before you offend you should count to 10. I’m one amongst many.
I’m using a Pro and a Mini. I care about Bit-Perfect; Gapeless and so on.
I have the WiiMs connected to a decent DAC then to my HiFi preamp and to listen to music with an High Quality sound they are almost perfect and withouth spending a lot of bucks.
Can they be improved? For sure, but it's useless to denigrate them.
Do not like those devices? Return them.
At three times the price or more you can find all the devices you may want.
Closed for me.
@greektragedy I get what you mean about the volume normalisation but I think one of the great things about the WIIM family is the flexibility. I have 4 WIIM devices, 3 are connected to to DAC's, 2 bit perfect and one with volume control. The 4th, a mini, is stuck to the side of the fridge in the kitchen with volume control and connected to an old Pure Jongo S3 speaker stuck on the top of the fridge. All grouped together and playing CD quality tracks I can have bit perfect where configured and matching music on the rest of them. Agree volume going up and down on a playlist can sometimes be a bit of a pain, especially when I'm cooking, but for me the flexibility trumps what is a mild niggle for me. And then there is the fact of how many streamers would you stick to the side of a fridge.........
