I installed LMS on a qnap nas a few weeks ago.
I remember trying to follow some guides I found online, but I found they often made assumptions about a certain level of famililarity with LMS and terminology. They were just text, no screenshots, and I like the simplicity of following screenshots! Alongside appropriate text, of course.

I believe @d6jg has a Woody Allen link to lms in his signature.

I was thinking you'd just find a post by d6jg and click the link, see what you got from there!

I'm not by my computer atm, but iirc you go to 'Container Station', choose Docker and put logitechmediaserver into it.
Then it's a simple case of getting the config right

If you are familiar with LMS then Docker is relatively easy but tbh I run on a separate Linux machine with files stored on QNAP and mounted via NFS so I’m not the best person to ask.
However head over to https://forums.slimdevices.com and take a look in the Linux/Unix section. There is a dedicated Docker thread in there.
Once you have got LMS working at a basic level in its ancient default UI then install the following plugins

Material - upto date html5 UI
Music & Artist Info - bios, reviews and lyrics
Don’t Stop The Music
LastMix
Qobuz,Tidal, Deezer or Spotify
Radio Paradise
BBC Sounds
Radio Now Playing
Playlist Manager

UPnP Bridge - if you have a Mini
