No, it wouldn't be possible to connect it directly.
Even if you could, it is not possible to output from digital and analogue (or coax and optical) simultaneously.

DACs such as Topping can output two analog systems simultaneously. However, there is no high-pass filter. If you want to use such a DAC, you can use the WiiM Pro or Mini.

You have to select your output of choice, so even if your sub had a coaxial digital input, it would also need analog or digital outputs in order to feed those to an amp. So if you can find a sub that is also a full range amplifier and DAC then Yes you can. I don't know if they exist but why not
