I have this issue that happens once or twice a week where I can't connect to either of my Wiims and I have to reboot my wifi router/modem to get connectivity to them. I have Google Fiber with their wifi router and I would really like if Wiim could fix this issue. It's annoying having to reboot my network just to reconnect the Wiims. Has anyone else had this issue?

I have a Synology RT6600ax and none of my devices have ever disconnected from wifi. I don't think the problem is Wiim...

I made the point that I have so many devices on my network that never disconnected, from security cameras, thermostats, tablets, phones, computers, smart plugs. None of them need me to reboot the network to gain control of them. it's just the wiim. The google fiber should not be blamed here.

Firstly, "Online" means nothing. I can turn mine off and the app still states Online!
I take it they're connected over WiFi?
When they disappear have you tried to ping them? You could also check if they respond to:
Code:
https://[ip-address]/httpapi.asp?command=getStatusEx

Have you tried connecting from another device, or using another protocol e.g. UPnP?

i have not tried connecting another device. i could install the app on a tablet i suppose but no i haven't tried another protocol. yes the are connected via wifi and as soon as i reboot the wifi router i'm able to connect to the wiim's.

It's likely a discovery problem rather than them being offline, so I'd expect them to respond to the http query.
You could also try manually configuring their IP address in the WiiM app, maybe just for one initially.
