Cannot pair remote with WiiM Pro

I reset both, tried new batteries but it will not pair. It tries and I get the dialogue saying it will take up to 30 seconds.

Thanks for replying, yes and I’ve tried pairing from different devices (iPhone / iPad). It can see the remote and gets to the pairing screen but never completes. I’ve got a month before I have to return it, I suspect this is a firmware issue.

Hi, go through trying to set up the remote again and when it fails, go into settings/feedback in the WiiM Home app and submit a ticket - WiiM may be able to diagnose your device logs and identify what’s at fault. They will be able to determine whether your device (remote or streamer) needs replacing if it doesn’t appear to be an easily solvable firmware issue.
