Does RCA in to RCA out perform A/D+D/A?

If the selected input is RCA analog and the selected output is also RCA analog, does the signal get converted twice, analog to digital then digital to analog, or is the WiiM Pro clever enough to just pass on the original analog signal?

Yes,
Tha WiiM is RCA in to RCA out perform A/D+D/A.

When using RCA inputs, there is little difference in performance between analog and digital outputs.

This is a measurement of the Mini. I think the Pro probably has similar performance.
