Flashing red

My wiim has a flashing red light and no sound is going to speakers. I assume this means the unit is dead.

Try a factory reset. Hold down the play button until the light goes off. Worth a try

In addition to no sound my phone constantly needs to reconnect...

Raise a ticket to WiiM thru the settings/ feedback route in the WiiM app.

I’d also contact your retailer as depending on where you are, the device may still be under warranty.
