Hello,
I recently bought this cable to connect my WiiM Amp to my Panasonic TV: https://www.audiophonics.fr/en/21-h...r-10-dhcp-22-edid-cec-earc-3d-5m-p-17974.html
Unfortunately, it does not work: the Amp is not turned on by CEC, and the TV does not detect that an ARC capable device is connected.
But if I first "establish the link" with a copper HDMI cable and then replace it with the optical one, ARC audio is audible, and I also verified that the optical cable works for "regular" or "forward" video and audio signals.
Did anyone already have success in using an optical HDMI cable with a WiiM Amp? Any idea of anything else I could try?
