I'm planning on running 2 zones outside. 1 to my deck, 1 by my fire pit. I've been looking at running 2 wiim amps, but if there is an audio delay, it would be a nightmare. I read that there is an on board mic for this, but my equipment will be in my network closet. Has anyone ran an external mic in this situation? One run will be about 50 ft. The other about 150'. Also what sub amps does every one like at reasonable prices for inground subs?

You can manually adjust the timing.
When i group 3 of my wiims they are all in sync - have never needed to either automatically (using mic) or manually adjust the latency on any of them.

And it sounds as if the two places are quite far apart anyway. Only someone walking between them in the middle might care! ;)

I have a Wiim Pro running coax to a Marantz NR1200. it powers two patio speakers outdoors. On the other side of the yard a Wiim mini connected to a cheap class d amp powers two more Klipsch outdoor speakers. They synch up just fine.
