Hi,

I just had the v5.0.606744 firmware.
I just can't use Spotify now (connection is super long and does not work)/
Sub out seems out as well.
Everything was working fine before the update.

Received my WiiM Amp just today. Would detect the update to firmware v5.0.606744 during the setup process, so the factory supplied firmware has only been used for bootstrapping.

No issues with Spotify Connect nor the sub out. Did you try to simply power cycle the unit? Have the mains lead disconnected for a minute to be on the safe side.

Try to reboot or factory reset if all things fail send message via wiim app.

By cycling the power unit you mean unplug the power cable for a few minutes ?
I did that and it seems it helped on the sub out trouble.

Reboot and reset did not help on the Spotify thing

Exactly.

(listening to Spotify while typing this)

Others are noting Spotify Connect is working again after not working with devices other than WiiM too

Everything back to normal it seems :)
Thanks !
Just so I understand whats is this "power cycle" ?

@bnino Just to confirm you're not longer experiencing any issues? What firmware do you have?

Power cycle = switch off and on again.

The only way to really switch off the WiiM Amp is to disconnect it from the mains supply. Pull the plug.
