Trying a little experiment. I have a lightning to rca cable. Have it hooked up to my Pro plus. Music is playing fine using Apple Music but I can’t see the resolution being displayed on the WiiM. When I stream Qobuz whatever in playing will show the resolution. Any ideas?

The signal that the WiiM receives on the Line in is analog.
In the case of Qobuz, it receives a digital signal over the network.

This "cable" is actually and truly a DAC. :)

So, as @Wiimer already explained the signal is really analog (otherwise the RCA input could not make use of it) and as such doesn't have a sampling frequency, bit depth or bit rate. However, there's another ADC right behind the RCA inputs (which has selectable bit depth and sampling rate).
