wiim pro unable to connect --- old yamaha connects in 3 seconds

I know it that this topic is not new, but now I am certain that issue is at wiim pro device.
I listened to wiim pro Friday evening, being not used at weekend.
I wanted to switch on this morning --- app says unanble to connect.
It is not a new thing as it happens every second day --- DC unplug-replug and job's done. But not this time.
I spent 2 hours to make it go live again, going through the forums, restarting the rooter, using different DC adapter, reinstalled the app etc--- no success.
White solid led and end of story.

Then I re-plugged my old yamaha music cast wxad-10, and it connected in 3 seconds, with the same exact settings to the same network.
So the issue sits purely with the device. I need a sollution.
