WIIm Pro upgrade to Plus?

Just got WiiM Pro in August23, stream from Tidal via Toslink to the Ruark Mk1 Mk2. Since WiiM Pro has a DAC, will the audio already be converted to analogue after passing through it? And will the speaker DAC do anything further? Also read using Toslink out from Wiim Pro to a DAC (ie the powered speakers which also has a DAC), does it mean the data will not be converted at WiiM Pro but the digital form will only be converted at the speakers?

If you use the wiim's digital outputs then there's no analog conversion happening within the wiim.

No, you aren't using the DAC in the Wiim, this is only used when connecting to the RCA out.
The Mini and Pro also have a DAC, the Plus DAC is better.
