16 bit vs 24 bit / Tidal

Not sure if I recall correctly, but there might have been a similiar thread on this...but wanted to share an interesting observation.

Listening via Tidal Connect, standard HiFi plan - no Master. The WiiM Apps shows 24bit 44.1 khz. Same file via Heos shows 16bit 44.1khz.

So question is, why is Wiim App showing wrong bit number? Yes, settings for Wiim are set to max....but should detect whats coming in tough?

I also have Tidal hifi (not plus), and my wiim app shows the correct resolution, 16 bits, when I tidal connect to any of my wiims.
Android wiim app.
