Way to pass track metadata to media player?

Hi all. Just got my Wiim Pro and am very impressed. It solved my horrible issues with HEOS and also MConnect HD uPnP but leaves a couple small issues I’d love to be able to fix to make the experience perfect.

1) I pass the Wiim signal to a Denon DNP 2000NE media player via digital coax. Sound is great but I lose the information on the front screen of the Denon which was always nice to see. It used to show track name, sample rate and bit depth. Now it just the sample rate in thru coax. Is there any way to pass this metadata to the Denon media player?

2) I can’t control the music through the Denon… e.g. next track, pause, etc. That all has to go through the app. Again, any way around this?

Thanks!IMG_8438.jpegIMG_8426.jpeg

In theory point 1 could be possible but I've never seen a device which uses a related part of the spdif protocol to transfer metadata. So answer is no, as stated above already.
