Wiim requesting NTP servers too frequently

Hello,

I'm using my Wiim AMP since a while and discovered, that it frequently sends out network requests to NTP servers.
The NTP protocol is used to sync the time with a device, normally it's enough to send out one NTP request every few hours or a few times per day only.

My device sends out multiple hundred NTP requests per day to multiple NTP servers.
Around every 5 minutes multiple hardcoded NTP servers seem to be conctacted continiously.
This is an unusual behavior for a NTP communication.

Could the Wiim team explain why this is happening?
Also why are so many NTP servers used and will it be possible in future to configure a custom NTP server set via App config?

You’re probably better off putting this into a ticket via the settings/ feedback section of the WiiM app - this is primarily a user community that WiiM occasionally drop in on, it’s not a route to support
