About to buy the Pro Plus. just have a few questions.

• Does the Pro Plus offer true gapless when using a Synology NAS (in this case, a DS1520+)
• As an iPhone user, could I get gapless playback using Plexamp on an iPhone?
• If not, can I get gapless using the Wiim app on an iPhone?

Gapless has always worked well for me from my qnap nas, normally via bubbleeupnp on android.
Don't know about plex.
Hardly ever used the wiim app to play my music, but iirc it was gapless.

In fact, the only gapless issue I've had is in the last few days using tidal connect to my mini.
Been working too much (the mini is the office setup) to try it on my pros.

In general - gapless should be fine, unless you use chromecast.

With PlexAmp you'll be using the Chromecast interface (as it doesn't support DLNA/UPnP renderers) which isn't gapless. There is further Plex integration due soon, but WiiM haven't commented on exactly what that entails.
