Radio Paradise: Wiim streams not live?

I'am new here and really happy with my new Wiim Pro Plus. (coming from an Amazon Echo Link ... with many connecting issues and no Hi-Res streaming)

Two small questions to the Radio Paradise implementation:

1. When I start any of their channels there are always playing other songs compared to the original website's playlist of RP. Bug or feature?

2. Also, no CD-Covers are displayed. Bug or feature?

It is normal that the RP website is ahead of the streams delivered by the API (which WiiM use)
At present the WiiM implementation does not give cover art.

But I observed the contrary: The WiiM-stream is one or two songs ahead of the RP website. That's a bit "spooky" ;-)

I was posting from memory. Yes it is the other way around. Although WiiM haven't implemented it the RP API provides for skipping tracks you don't like so it definitely isn't live. This skipping facility is implemented in the RP plugin in LMS which is what I use and also has full cover art.

The LMS plug in for Radio Paradise works much better if you can use that instead; flac, artwork, track skipping.
