Mystery solved

Around the time the Wiim amp was proposed I was messing around with some TPA3255 amps.

My design team doesn't mess about! We put a 700W PSU in a very smart chassis along with a Wiim Mini.

The next incarnation is powered by my lawn mower battery.

Note the use of ultra low noise crimp connectors throughout

Joking aside, this is actually very good!

But seriously...
I put this together out of curiosity & was rather surprised by how good it is.
£30 for the amp & £30 for the PSU.
It's a very serious amp for what it cost.
It won't replace any of my existing gear but if cost is an issue it's hard to beat.

well, it loks great, all the hard wiring with crimped contacts. must sound freaking awesome! many manufacturers don't come close - with their cheap PCBs etc...
